If you own a Taranis Q X7 and you're not using non-rechargeable batteries, you'll need to find a way to charge your batteries. FrSKY's solution, to this, is the FCX07 and charger.

Sold as a complete unit, the FCX07 allows you to connect your batteries in one of three ways:

  1. Via the charging port, if your X7 has one
  2. By connecting your FrSKY batteries directly to the FCX07
  3. By connecting the battery clip/tray to the FCX07

The charger comes in two parts, the charger itself that plugs into the mains, and a charging module.

The charging module allows you to connect and charge both 2S and 6S NiMh batteries.

To use the charger with a charging port, simply do the following:

  1. Ensure you have the battery properly connected inside the X7.
  2. As illustrated in one of the photos, simply attach the charging lead plug to the X7, with the other end connected to the charging module. NB X7's that come with a charging port also come with a charging lead.
  3. Connect the charger and charging module.
  4. Switch the charging module to either 2S or 6S (whichever is applicable).
  5. Plug the charger into the mains and ensure it is switched on.

To use the charger by connecting the battery directly, simply do the following:

  1. Remove the battery from inside the X7.
  2. As illustrated in one of the photos, simply attach the charging lead plug to the FCX07.
  3. Connect the charger and charging module.
  4. Switch the charging module to either 2S or 6S (whichever is applicable). 2S is used for 7.2V batteries.
  5. Plug the charger into the mains and ensure it is switched on.

To use the charger by connecting the battery clip/tray, simply do the following:

  1. Remove the battery clip/tray from inside the X7.
  2. Place the rechargeable NiMh batteries within the battery clip/tray; correctly aligned.
  3. As illustrated in one of the photos, simply attach the battery lead plug to the FCX07.
  4. Connect the charger and charging module.
  5. Switch the charging module to either 2S or 6S (whichever is applicable). 2S is used for 7.2V batteries.
  6. Plug the charger into the mains and ensure it is switched on.

NB This listing's photos include a Taranis Q X7, a battery clip/tray, and a FrSKY six pack battery. None of these three items are included with the item being sold. These additional items are only included to illustrate the FCX07's versatility.
